Understanding Monetization Design

Our Monetization Design is a Hybrid of Subscription and Transactional Models.

​

Subscription Model - We charge our customers a yearly license fee to allow them access to our platform.

​

Transactional Model - Leegality also charges a nominal transactional cost on each transaction that happens on the platform.

Every User

While there is a transactional cost for everyone, the license fee is only for Core and Power Users.

When are we charging?

Before Transaction

We have a Prepaid Wallet Recharge that is required before a transaction and a license fee that needs to be paid yearly in advance.

What are we charging for?

Access (License Fee) + Output (Per Transaction)

For Core and Power Users, we charge a license fee yearly and for every transaction.

For Casual Users, we only allow simple transactions and charge on a pay-as-you-go basis.

Observations

  • 5 Plans are on display on the Pricing Page. This is highly confusing. At the end of the day, there can only 2 types of pricing plans: Personal Plan (without license fee) and Enterprise Plan (with license fee)
  • Scale and Enterprise Plans are visibly 99% similar.
  • There's a drastic difference between Startup and Premium Plan, in terms of features being offered.
  • The major CTA is to "Book a Demo", which looks a lot like a Data Collection form.

The Pricing Page seems irrelevant in its current form because there is no pricing available there. It looks more like a feature comparison
